All our weddings make use of our exclusive private entrance & terrace area. If you choose to arrive by wedding car, you can pull right up to the front door to make your grand entrance.
Your wedding ceremony can take place in the beautiful Colonnades Room. You enter via the grand double staircase into this bright and airy space which will be full of friends and family. The Colonnades Room has floor to ceiling windows along its full length, providing direct access onto the Mansion’s famous terrace area.
We cannot recommend The Mansion enough as a wedding venue. We truly felt like the guests of honour at our wedding since all the hosting was managed so perfectly by Liam and his team! The food was stand out... all our guests commented on how great the food was! We had a truly magical wedding at the Mansion!
We celebrated our wedding this Saturday at The Mansion and hands down it was truly the best day. Everything from the point of booking the venue to the actual day was easy. Liam was incredible at answering all of our questions even just days before the wedding. If I could do it all again I absolutely would in a heartbeat. Thanks to you all again for making our wedding truly the best
From the moment we met our Wedding Event Manager, Liam all our planning stress disappeared! Liam and his incredible team looked after us from the first planning meeting through to the last person leaving the dance floor. No request was too much for them and they were unbelievably flexible and accommodating. We had great feedback from all our guests on the food, wines and the service standard throughout the event. I couldn't recommend The Mansion as a venue any more - if we could do it all over again we would! :)
We could not be happier with our wedding day. Liam was an absolute pleasure to work with. He made us feel at ease with all of our queries and couldn’t help us enough with a professional and friendly approach. The day itself was perfect and seamless. Once the I Do’s are done, you can move onto the terrace overlooking 700 acres of parkland for your post ceremony drinks. There are so many beautiful areas for photos it might be hard to choose! We have woodland, formal gardens, lakes & bandstands, all within a few metres.
On the first floor and accessed up the sweeping staircase, beneath the cascading chandelier is the Mansion Room. The first thing you notice are the views across the park through the original sash windows. Tastefully decorated to complement most colour schemes, the Mansion Room can be transformed to suit your own style and tastes.
At The Mansion we believe your wedding day should be as unique as you are, so we won’t ask you to select a fixed package. Our snapshots are designed to guide you to a choice of menus, dates and services- but these are only a guide, you can choose whichever combination you require, at any point during your wedding planning.

Our stunning venue offers the best of both worlds- gorgeous backdrops in the heart of Roundhay Park, and yet easy access from the centre of Leeds.
Being able to put you and your wedding first means we know that sometimes due to cultural and/or religious reasons you need a more bespoke option.
Our Cultural Wedding options offer just that: the ability to hire The Mansion as an exclusive use venue for either 8 or 15 hours up to midnight, and work with our nominated outside caterers for appropriate menus, staffing and theming.
Liam is the first contact for most of our wedding couples, as well as co-ordinating the planning, and running the event on the day.
Jake brings his experience to bear behind the scenes, ensuring everything is where it needs to be, when it needs to be there
Jenny is an experienced and energetic Head of Events and uses her knowledge & expertise to oversee all our events.
